My Memories: This photo was from before I existed, but my first boat was the same kind - a project boat built by brother Tim out of fiberglass. Used for many year up north - only by paddling or being pulled behind another boat. I don't recall a working sail.

So many pelicans

 A Venture 17 and a Pelican 12' where Dad's goto boats. He built one or two Pelicans I think. My Memories 10 minutes out in to the bay I could be found napping on the life jackets. Unless we were out pounding waves on the 'big lake' (Huron Ask  Randy about being out when it was freezing and the boat floating away and back.
